Problem Solving

We  are learning to solve  maths  problem.

There  are  usually  14  girls  in  my  class  but   toady  8  are  sick.  How  many  girls  are  in class?

    Hi Lishana,

    What a good maths problem to solve! If there are usually 14 and I take away 8 because they're sick that leaves 6 girls.

    The equation would like this;
    14 - 8 = 6
