Week we have been reading a book called Tusk The Cat

The Tree

Sitting there waiting for a friend to come and see me just to hang out and have some fun.
But I ask him to come and sit under a tree and talk about what has been going on in his life. But as I was sitting there waiting for him to come see me. I find something that was in a shape of a book but I did not know what inside so I open the book and had a look. There were some very secretive stuff that was hiding in this book.

But as I was turn the pages over I got more and excited to who was writing this.
Finaly he came to see me and talk about what was going in his life but I had to tell him

I had found. I told him about the book and everything inside it. At frist he seemed to not mind, acted as if he didnt care, but I felt akward when at the back it said his name. “Does this belong to you?” I asked. He didnt reply but his face didnt deny it. It did belong to him and it was all about me. I avoided talking about the subject, I knew it made him uncomfortable

This was just for fun and to be creavtive in our writing.

Colour to the Key

Think about what does it mean to be a good friends. Look around see who your real friends are  they easy to  trust and  care for eachother. Are they kind easy to hang out with. 

Trust is one of the most important thing in a friendship. For example if you tell your friends something really private and you don’t want them to tell anyone about this sercet  that when you know if you can trust them your not.

With your friends you can do bad or fun stuff with eachother but you also know how to a have a goodtime with those that are around you. To have fun you can play sport with your friends or just crack some joke. 

If you can see your friend quiet down you can be a help hand and check if your friend alright to also cheer them up a bit and it always nice to be very carring toward all your friends and put them down when there sad.

 I hope you learn what it means to be a good friends. So don’t forget what I told you beacause you will need it in the furtrue.

Cross Country

On the 21 of September it was a great day we all were preparing for the Cross Country Race. Most of us were very nervous standing at the starting line ready for Mr Burt has a clappers and it make a clapping sound there we all started  to run down the course all of us speeding off.  Heart beats very faster I heard all of the school cheer on Go Girls’’. Doing the course was very hard I had pain in my legs and cramps. I was think that this run for me was all about having fun. Finaly doing my second lap.

Running has hard that I could all of the teachers are cheer me on I’m almost at the end of the course all of Team 5 are cheering me on saying you can do it ‘’. I am at the end of my race. I’m so happy that I made it to the finish  the race and so proud of myself. So that my family would be too. I had lot of pain after I did the course my calf muscles were very sore when I came across the finish line.

As soon as I got there I fell on to the ground then I had my water that the teachers gave me. Then I went to the otherside to cheer on the rest of Team 5 after I ran I was talking so much that I had to take a deep breath. I was very sore and dirty I had mud all over my feet and I did even have a shower because I had basketball later on that night.

Strike Day?

Why do people have strike day?  People have strike day because teachers never have time to teach kids because they’re always doing paperwork that the Government gives them.

Resourcing for additional needs?  Meaning kids that can’t control their behaviour because they don’t have someone to help them, they need extra help. In some school their are not after teachers to help the special needs kids.They  don’t have the help they should be getting in school.

When students have graduated from high school maybe their dream job is to be a teacher so they go online to check out the teachers job, but they find out that they don’t give much money to their bank account.  

My partner and I agree that teachers need a little bit more things so they can interact more with their students. They need a better pay, more teaching time and needs more teachers so they can help students with how they act!

Ned Show

This Morning we had the Ned Show and there was a kind person called Cosmo.  He had a lot thing to talk to us about. One of the point that I like very much was Each Person Matters A lot I really like that because everyone does matter.  Another point that I like really was that different can be good.

  It's can be good. Another that was really good include others where you're anything.  Also you can make friends anywhere in a country your a lsland you're anywhere.

My ideas to help you have a fun school holiday

In the school holidays ours parents give us so much chores. Because we sleep in we don’t have time to do it.So it is very important that I get up early in the morning to do my chores. If we do them on time we’ll have more time to play with ours friends. Also it’s good to have a big breakfeast in the morning so you can play throught till lunch time.

In the holidays you can be very create with what you do outside you can
 ake hunt with friends and build heap of things. It’s a lot of fun playing with friends in the hunt. It work the more chores you do the more play time you get.


Tag. We always played it  in the  hoildays and we have alot of fun and hilarious things happen in the game. We all enjoy it. There are all sort of games to play. Kids like me stay inside all day and don’t go outside.

All of these things work so I hope in the hoildays you enjoy the game and don’t forgets to do the chores early in the morning so when your parents coming home they have a clean house to come home too.

Fitness Run

Immersion Assbemly

Mrs Burt with bright green socks, denim shorts dance and sing with the all of the school. Moving there body. Everyone was  having lot of fun. Beyonce Burt's was doing his thang with is hairy legs I hope everyone enjoy it. 

 Team 5 was very funny there themes was thaychin there acting was very interesting . They were very slowly in there moved and has a lot of control in there thaychin. All of Team 5 enjoy. And especially the year 1-2. Mr Wiseman was very into the action he was doing he was falling everyone and he almost fell off the stage. It was very hilarious. 

Anyway thank you to all of the teachers in the whole school. Thank you to Mr Jacobsen , Mr Burt . And also I really enjoy Mr Burt dance with his hairy legs and his Beyonce dance everyone really enjoy it 

Life In School

Today at school we has a crazy morning in Team 5 and some of ours teachers have been leaving the school. Mrs Salu , Miss Szymanik , Mrs Buchanan , Miss Nua . They are all very special teacher in the school and they are always welcome back to the school and good lucky for the future. For of us it was very sad for us to see Mrs Salu go and we will miss you very much and have a safe and sound hoilday all the best for the futrue. But the rest of the teachers won't be leaving anytime soon. I am very excited that it is the last day of school and I hope you guys are happy too. I happy and sad that it is the last day of the term.

Years 8 Camps

 The day of camp we were ready to go to the camp. My friends and me went into our cabin and set up all of ours bed . The trumpet went off so it  was the time to go up to the lounge and have a Year 8 meet with all the teacher. To talk about what is leadership and how to be a leader. My team and me got into a circle and we parents with one of our friend to say what we like about eachother. It was very easy to come up with ideas. By the way my partner was Api. Later that day my group went to Air Rifles. At the activity with my group all of  the girls were scared at first but it was very fun.

The next day we did more activity. Ours first activity was Fly Fox. The grass was very slippery I slided down the grass and got all muddy. There we went to do a course that everyone had to do. I did not enioy it very much. The rest of team enioy. Next we did to paintball and most of us were a bit sarced to do it but in the end we all enioy it.

We learn a lot from the camps.

Matariki Day

On Matariki Day the group I was in Movie Making with Miss Lagitupu , Miss Teleso. I was happy that I got to interview with some of the teacher that were doing activities around the school. By the way the people I was doing it with was Ana Lels , Madison ,Jahzara ,Luisa and me. I was super duper excited to go and film the different group but I was also nervous to speak in front of a camera too. So first we went to the Staff Room to film students cooking. They were cooking Fudge Cake and it looks very good I hope they enjoy the cake. We went to the hall to see what the sports group was up too. This time had to interview Mr Moran and I was very very nevrous to do it. We stared to record. I ask question like what is this group what are you guys  doing.

After that we knew that it was time to go back and have morning tea. So we went to eat and went an played with ours friends. Then after that we went to film one more group then we had to go back to creative space to edit the movie. It took a very long time to edit the movie. Lucky we got it done and we show it to the hole school when we were done.

Wonder Writing

Something called - away in the distance.’’ Climb on quick she commanded I hear a strange noise come toward me. It was very loud and dangerous so I ran as fast as I could but it was silent for a second then the big loud stomp came loose and lose this little tiny woman pot out and said hello what are you in the forest she said. I just wanted to going for and strolling down the path. Then a big scary elephant pot out. This elephant was not any kind of elephant this elephant was kind and nice he was very carry too.

Fiafia Night

On the night of Fiafia my mum deidce to do a work shop and made alot of money. It was very wet and cold my feet were like ice. I really enioy the night and all the food but I barely any. I would of like it to be inside so we would not be sick the next morning. I was very nevrous to perfomance for the crowd and family it was very sarcy. By I had to leave after my perfomance because it was to cold and wet. So we went home and got in to some warm pj for bed and hot cocca . I had a great and my parents are proud of me fo what I did in my last year. Thank you to my nana for her helpand the tutors

This week in team 5 we have been gets to know each other and our teachers . It been very fun to bond

with the year 7 students . One thing I like about this week is that I get to go to my  new Reading , Writing class it been super awesome hang out with everyone we play game with the whole class.By the way we have to new teachers in our block. One in room four an her name is Mrs Stone , Mrs Salu they are very to hang out with.
